David Kovalcik, CEO of Xyvid, was one of the original founders of Computerware Inc. He and his three brothers started the business in 1982 as a computer retail store for Apple, IBM and Compaq in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Kovalcik helped grow the organization to over 350 people with 13 locations. In 1995 Computerware merged with Catalink Direct and as President of the mid-Atlantic region for Catalink Direct, Mr. Kovalcik helped take the company public in October of 1995.

In 2012, Xyvid was born.
